Mandy Gonzalez, a Saugus High graduate and Broadway star best known for her roles in the following productions - In the Heights, Hamilton, and Wicked - returned to California with fellow Broadway star, Javier Muñoz (In the Heights, Hamilton), to perform their hits at the Smothers Theater in Malibu. Valencia Choir students were invited to sing backup for two of their songs - Fearless and In the Heights Finale. It was an exhilarating experience for the students, many of whom are big fans of Hamilton and In the Heights.
