It was an inspiring day at the Verdugo Hills A Cappella Scholarship Festival with 12 incredible choirs from all over Southern California performing amazing pieces!
Our own VHS Chamber Choir performed beautifully with two meaningful and powerful pieces - “Softest Rains" (Rob Dietz) featuring student conductor, Daniel Heringer, and “The Joke” (Brandi Carlisle, arr, Shams Ahmed). They took home the FIRST PLACE trophy and plaque as well as a cash prize of $8,500.
